Per Sandberg
Position: Managing Director - Word Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD)
Mr. Sandberg has been heading the Business Role Focus Area of WBCSD for three years. In parallel, he has also lead the flagship Vision 2050 project, which outlines a pathway for how 9 billion people can live well and within the limits of the planet by 2050. WBCSD brings together some 200 international companies in a shared commitment to sustainable development. Mr. Sandberg directs a portfolio of activities that address the issues of sustainable innovation, communicating sustainable performance to investors, the role of business in influencing and innovating with consumers, and the people skills and processes needed for sustainable innovation and transformation. Mr. Sandberg holds a MSc in Chemical Engineering and a PhD from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Trondheim, Norway.
