Fredrik Erixon
Position: Director - European Center for International Political Economy (ECIPE)
Fredrik Erixon is a Director and co-founder of the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE), a world-economy think tank based in Brussels. He is the author of several books and studies in the fields of international economics and regulatory policy. He is an expert on EU trade and regulatory policy, and is a sought-after speaker on those areas. Erixon has also worked extensively in the field of healthcare policy, among other things advising British and Swedish governments on healthcare reforms. Erixon has advised and consulted for several other governments and international organizations, including China’s Ministry of Commerce. Prior to starting ECIPE, Erixon was an Adviser to the British government and the Chief Economist of Timbro, a Swedish think tank. He has previously worked at the World Bank, in its office in Nairobi, and for JP Morgan as an emerging market analyst. Erixon was educated at the London School of Economics, Oxford University and Uppsala University
