Prof. Philippe Haspeslagh
Position: Dean - Vlerick Management School
Professor Philippe Haspeslagh is Dean of Vlerick Management School, a leading business school in the heart of Europe with campuses in Leuven, Gent and St Petersburg. The school is the degree granting partner of BiMBA, the Beijing international MBA, together with the National School for Development of Beijing University.
Previously professor Haspeslagh was the Paul Desmarais chaired professor of active ownership at Insead, a visiting professor at Harvard Business School and Stanford Business School, as well as a chief of cabinet for the Belgian Minister of Agriculture and SMEs. He has an MBA and DBA from Harvard Business School. He is a board member of the European Academy of Business and Society as well as of several listed and unlisted companies both in the private equity and industrial sphere.
